New changes to The Crime and Courts Act 2013 came into effect on 1 June 2015.
The changes were enacted by statutory instrument SI 2015/813 The Crime and Courts Act 2013 (Commencement No. 12) Order 2015.
The provisions of The Crime and Courts Act 2013 which came into force on 1 June 2015 are as follows:
- Section 18 – youth courts to have jurisdiction to grant gang-related injunctions
- Section 46 – enables property subject to a restraint order can be used to make a legal aid payment, so far as not already in force
- Schedule 12 – further amendments to gang-related injunctions
